The Kamakura is built with authentic kiln dried Asian bamboo, and wood collars at the top and bottom of the lamp shade. The lamp shade is crafted from durable fiber reinforced, pressed pulp rice paper, with attractive modern style decorative rings. Uses two light bulbs, standard American size, with UL approved, wheel switch, power cord, and bulb sockets. At almost 40 inches tall, this version makes either a great small floor lamp, or a wonderful extra tall table lamp, diffusing a rich, warm, indirect light through out the room.
